The Plough & Barleycorn
The first lease that we still have shows that the pub was well estalished in 1875
The tenant survived the landlord in 1894!
I miss the days of italic script and wax seals, you felt that you owned something.
Thankfully I have HMRC to remind my that I own a pub!
Penetrating damp, I can't think why?
And you laughed when I said I had invented the 'weed grenade'.
Meanwhile in the bar I think the trifids are plotting..
For the BT team I am still saving weight (thats about a third of the redundant wiring from one bar)
How many times have you been a fuse box and thought "if only I had a landline"
Mr Ritson's excellent work sees my Victorian John Tann lock back where it belongs
